Estudio Pacífico — Design as a Service (DaaS)

1. Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of design, web, hosting, and domain-related services (“Services”) offered by Estudio Pacífico.
By subscribing to or using our Services, you agree to these Terms in full.

Estudio Pacífico provides Design as a Service (DaaS) plans, web development services (WordPress and Framer), domain management solutions, hosting reselling, and third-party email setup (DreamHost and Google Workspace).

2. Design Services

Estudio Pacífico offers unlimited design requests under a subscription model. The client may submit unlimited tasks, with one active task at a time unless otherwise stated.

Included Design Services

  • UX/UI design for web and product

  • Web and landing page design (Figma)

  • Brand and visual design

  • Graphic design and marketing assets

  • Design systems, components, and UI documentation

  • Multi-brand support (unless limited by your plan)

  • Revisions (as specified in your plan)

Excluded Design Services

Estudio Pacífico does not provide the following:

  • 3D modeling

  • Motion graphics or animated graphics (GIFs, After Effects, etc.)

  • Video editing or audiovisual production

  • Document design for regulated or formal use (medical forms, legal forms, government forms)

  • Complex packaging or dieline engineering

  • Extensive print design (magazines, books, catalogs)

  • Editorial design requiring Adobe InDesign

  • Research-heavy UX processes (interviews, surveys, user testing)

  • Custom development outside WordPress or Framer

  • Backend programming, custom APIs, or server-side logic

These exclusions help maintain the speed, clarity, and value of the DaaS model.

3. Website Development Services

Estudio Pacífico offers WordPress and Framer website development depending on your selected plan.

Included Website Services

  • Website layout design (Figma)

  • Responsive development

  • Basic SEO-ready structure

  • CMS configuration

  • Speed and performance optimization

  • Content upload (client-provided)

Not Included (Paid by Client Separately)

Estudio Pacífico does not cover or pay for:

  • Premium WordPress plugins

  • Paid themes

  • Framer Hosting or domain costs

  • Addons, integrations, or external APIs

  • Email services

  • Framer paid features or CMS subscriptions

  • Licenses required for additional functionality

All third-party fees must be paid directly by the client.

4. Third-Party Services

Estudio Pacífico uses and integrates services from third-party providers including, but not limited to:

  • DreamHost (hosting, emails, domain registration)

  • Google Workspace (corporate email accounts)

  • Framer (website hosting and CMS)

  • WordPress providers (plugins, themes, addons)

Estudio Pacífico is not liable for:

  • Uptime or outages from third-party platforms

  • Policy changes made by third-party providers

  • Pricing changes or subscription increases

  • Failures, bugs, or compatibility issues caused by third-party services

The client is fully responsible for maintaining any required third-party subscriptions to ensure proper website functionality.

5. Additional Services (Domains, Hosting & Email)

Estudio Pacífico offers the following optional and separately billed services:

Domain Services

  • Domain delegation

  • Domain purchase/renewal

  • DNS configuration

  • Nameserver configuration

All domain registration and renewal fees are paid by the client.

Hosting Services (DreamHost)

  • Shared hosting (reseller model)

  • Server configuration

  • SSL setup

  • Account management

  • Yearly plans

  • Hosting plans managed by Estudio Pacífico

Hosting fees are billed separately and are non-refundable once activated.

Email Services

  • DreamHost email accounts

  • Google Workspace setup

  • DNS records for MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC

  • Email troubleshooting within platform limitations

All email subscriptions must be purchased by the client.

6. Communication & Workflow

All communication is asynchronous via:

  • WhatsApp

  • Trello

  • Loom (video explanations)

Real-time meetings are limited or optional based on your preference.

Turnaround time is typically 48–72 hours per request, depending on complexity.

7. Payments & Billing

  • All subscription plans are billed monthly.

  • Payments must be completed upfront before design work begins.

  • No prorated refunds are offered once a billing cycle has started.

  • Failure to pay automatically pauses your subscription and services.

For hosting, domains, and email services:
All payments are handled upfront and are non-refundable once activated due to third-party costs.

8. Pause, Cancellation & Refunds

Pause

You may pause your subscription at any time. Paused time does not roll over unless explicitly agreed.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of your billing cycle.

Refunds

No refunds are provided for partially used months or for third-party services (hosting, domains, email, plugins, addons, themes).

9. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, all designs created by Estudio Pacífico become the property of the client, except:

  • Licensed fonts

  • Stock images requiring external licensing

  • Third-party templates or components

These remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Confidentiality

All client information, files, and assets are kept confidential. Estudio Pacífico may showcase work publicly only if the client approves or if the work is already publicly available.

11. Limitation of Liability

Estudio Pacífico is not liable for:

  • Website downtime caused by hosting providers

  • Broken features caused by plugin updates

  • Security breaches on third-party platforms

  • Loss of revenue due to website issues

  • Delays caused by missing client feedback or assets

Liability is limited strictly to the amount paid in the current billing cycle.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Estudio Pacífico, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
