Terms of Service
1. General description
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the design, web, hosting, and domain services ("Services") offered by Estudio Pacífico.
By subscribing to or using our Services, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.
Estudio Pacífico offers Design as a Service (DaaS) plans, web development services (WordPress and Framer), domain management, hosting reselling, and third-party email configuration (DreamHost and Google Workspace).
2. Design services
Estudio Pacífico offers unlimited design requests under a subscription model. The client can submit unlimited requests, with one active task at a time, unless otherwise specified in the plan.
Design services included

UX/UI design for web and product

Web design and landing pages (Figma)

Brand design and visual design
-
Graphic design and marketing materials
-
UI design systems, components, and documentation
-
Support for multiple brands (except for plan limitations)
-
Reviews (as specified in your plan)
Design services excluded
Estudio Pacífico does not offer the following services:

3D modeling
-
Motion graphics or animated graphics (GIFs, After Effects, etc.)

Video editing or audiovisual production
-
Design of regulated or formal documents (medical, legal, or government forms)
-
Complex packaging or die engineering
-
Extensive editorial design (magazines, books, catalogs)
-
Editorial design requiring Adobe InDesign
-
UX processes with a high research load (interviews, surveys, user tests)
-
Custom development outside of WordPress or Framer
-
Backend programming, custom APIs, or server logic
These exclusions allow the speed, clarity, and value of the DaaS model to be maintained.
3. Web development services
Estudio Pacífico offers web development in WordPress and Framer, depending on the plan selected.

Responsive development

Basic structure optimized for SEO

CMS configuration

Speed and performance optimization

Content upload (provided by the customer)
Not included (paid by the customer)
Estudio Pacífico does not cover or pay for:

Premium WordPress plugins
-
Paid themes
-
Framer hosting or domains
-
Add-ons, integrations, or external APIs
-
Email services
-
Framer premium features or CMS subscriptions
-
Licenses required for additional features
All third-party costs must be paid directly by the customer.
4. Third-party services
Estudio Pacífico uses and integrates third-party services, including (but not limited to):

DreamHost (hosting, email, domains)
-
Google Workspace (corporate email)
-
Framer (web hosting and CMS)
-
WordPress providers (plugins, themes, add-ons)
Estudio Pacífico is not responsible for:
-
Third-party platform outages or interruptions
-
Changes in third-party policies
-
Price changes or subscription increases
-
Failures, errors, or compatibility issues caused by external services
The customer is responsible for maintaining the subscriptions necessary for the proper functioning of the website.
5. Additional services (domains, hosting, and email)
Estudio Pacífico offers the following optional services, billed separately:

All domain costs are paid by the customer.
Hosting services (DreamHost)

Shared hosting (reseller model)

Server configuration

Hosting managed by Estudio Pacífico
Hosting costs are billed separately and are non-refundable once activated.
Email services

DreamHost email accounts

Google Workspace Settings

DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

Basic support within the limitations of the platform
All email subscriptions must be purchased by the customer.
6. Communication and workflow
All communication is asynchronous via:

WhatsApp
-
Trello
-
Loom (explanatory videos)
Real-time meetings are limited or optional, depending on preference.
The usual delivery time is 48 to 72 hours per request, depending on its complexity.
7. Payments and billing

All plans are billed monthly.

Payment must be made in advance before any work begins.
-
No prorated refunds are offered once the billing cycle has begun.

Non-payment automatically suspends the service.
For hosting, domains, and email:
All payments are made in advance and are non-refundable once activated, due to third-party costs.
8. Pause, cancellation, and refunds
Pause
You can pause your subscription at any time. Paused time does not accumulate, unless explicitly agreed upon.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. The plan will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.
Refunds
No refunds will be given for partially used months or for third-party services (hosting, domains, email, plugins, add-ons, or themes).
9. Intellectual property
Once full payment has been made, all designs created by Estudio Pacífico become the property of the client, except:

Licensed sources

Stock images with external licenses
-
Third-party templates or components
These items remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Confidentiality
All client information, files, and assets are handled confidentially. Estudio Pacífico may only display work publicly with the client's approval or if the work is already public.
11. Limitation of Liability
Estudio Pacífico is not responsible for:

Site outages caused by hosting providers

Features broken by plugin updates
-
Security breaches in third-party platforms
-
Loss of revenue due to site issues
-
Delays caused by lack of feedback or materials from the client
Liability is strictly limited to the amount paid in the current billing cycle.
12. Acceptance of terms
By using any of the services offered by Estudio Pacífico, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
